During 2008 Nemesis had some great projects to rise up to; one of these was a contract to supply Royal Mail with over 26,000 vehicle specific mounting brackets along with the same number of PDA charger holders and power cables.

Nemesis were approached in their capacity as UK distributor for Brodit Holders and vehicle mounting solutions. All Brodit products are manufactured and designed in Sweden, the range offers over 4,000 vehicle specific mounting brackets along with device specific holders for phones, PDAs, GPS units, phones and multimedia screens.

Royal Mail came to Nemesis directly for this project and asked for advice on charger holder solutions for the Intermec CN3 rugged PDAs they were going to implement throughout their delivery fleet.

Nemesis and Brodit worked together to develop a bespoke solution for Royal Mail, which included the proclips (vehicle specific mounting brackets for the 8 types of van used by Royal Mail) and the actual holders for the Intermec devices. Both the holders and proclips were made stronger for more durability in such a demanding environment.

After a 3 month trial for 45 vehicles the parts were signed off and a delivery schedule was agreed. This delivery schedule set out the quantities and parts that needed to be delivered to each of the 120 workshops over a 12 week fulfilment period.

…… and over the summer of 2008 Nemesis then made over 1,000 direct deliveries to workshops throughout the UK to complete the rollout on time with no issues and every single kit delivered to the right workshop at the right time….

Nemesis is very proud of its proven ability to develop cost effective bespoke solutions and to deliver high volumes of product accurately against a complex and time critical delivery schedule… this project has really shown what we can do !
